A friend suggested to me that Michael Winner should have gone to Brown Sugar Restaurant.......for some good Bajan food

The Sunday Times My friend Gordon Ramsay famously said, “Michael Winner knows nothing about food.” At last I’ve found someone who knows less about food than me.

Not only less about food, but less about presentation, about how to treat people . . . in fact I’ve met the most awful example of the so-called “hospitality industry” I’ve come across in 70 years of eating in the finest restaurants all over the world. Quite a nonachievement. This man is ridiculous.

Stop. Don’t get overexcited. “Calm down, dear, it’s only a chef.” He’s Grant MacPherson, culinary director and head chef of Sandy Lane, Barbados. His food is unbelievably awful.

I hate to look at the Barbados tourists site that give the history of Barbados.The ones that talk of Columbus discovering these islands and the other foolish tales that the Bob Marley and Burning Spear called 'mis-education'.I agree with them as a matter of fact Burning Spear referred to Christopher Columbus as a 'damn blasted liar'.Thank god for Rastafari. One of the funniest stories is the one of the bearded fig tree and the name Los Barbados which was supposed to mean 'the bearded one'. I am trying again.I am trying to get an Internet connection for my mobile phone through Cable and Wireless and it is proving to be a very difficult undertaking.As I said in a previous post they are sending me in circles and I am kind of enjoying it now.I just want to see how long it will take me and the excuses they are giving me.I called the Cable and Wireless customer care number yesterday and the rep told me to go back to the outlet again and tell the attendant to manually configure the phone since it cannot be configured automatically.If this doesn't work she said to ask for a senior person and tell them and it shouldn't be a problem.So I will be going to the Cable and Wireless outlet in Cave shepherd again today to see what happens. Now I explained to the customer care rep on the phone that I did all of this already(except asking for the senior person) and it didn't work.I queried as to if it would be possible for she to give me the information so that I can configure
