Barbados,no surprises

Today is Independence day in Barbados and I decided to take a trip to my favorite spot on the east coast.I traveled on the Cherry Tree hill route, pass St.Nicholas' Abbey and Morgan Lewis windmill.

Even though I must have past this route a few thousand times I still enjoy it immensely.Barbados is really a very beautiful island that has been spared many of the natural disasters that have not spared others. It is for this reason that when things like the earth shake that happened yesterday occurs, people are thrust into a panic.

They never expect anything to happen to or in Barbados........
